This is the letter we received from Bill Simpson, the tournamnet OIC, for our first show, of the 2009/10 season.

OIC Report
Hull Saints at Millburn Leisure Centre - 04/12/09
This show was a pleasure to attend; it was an extremely good venue and had a very helpful organised committee.
The show had twelve bouts in total, seven junior and five senior. All was well matched and all to programme.
A mostly novice type of tournament but all the bouts was hard fought and seeemed to satisfy the large audience.
Officials were in attendance, judges, Ken Blood, Richard Cawthorn, Kev Atkinson.
Jon Lee acted as timekeeper, myself as OIC and MOs assistant but we managed to get through quite nicely.
Everything at this show was in accordance with ABA rules, permits displayed, recorder provided, security in place. No problems what so ever.
I will gladly attend other tournaments that are organised in such a professional manner and fully cooperate with all the officials requests which makes a pleasant change for them.
I bring to your attention once again; the number of officials in attendance just adequate at best, the problem still remians with us.
